    Trees create huge negative pressures of tens of atmospheres by evaporating water thru nanoscale pores sucking water up a hundred meters in a state where it should be boiling but can't because the perfect zylon tubes contain no air bubles JUST SO MOST OF IT CAN EVAPORATE IN A PROCESS OF ABSORBING A COUPLE MOLECULES OF CARBON DIOXIDE."

    So considering the effort to benefit ratio of this scenario we can safely assume that trees are morons.
